Project - Tree Plantation
Punjab Cash & Carry, in partnership with Clean & Green Islamabad, successfully organized a Tree Plantation Event dedicated to promoting environmental sustainability and raising awareness about climate change. The event served as a vital step towards building a cleaner, healthier, and greener Pakistan by engaging communities in collective action.
The initiative was designed not only to plant trees but also to cultivate a sense of responsibility among citizens regarding the preservation of natural resources. Volunteers from different backgrounds, including students, families, and employees, joined hands to contribute to the plantation drive. The activity was carried out at designated sites in Islamabad, where hundreds of trees were planted with proper care and planning to ensure long-term growth and maintenance.
The event highlighted the importance of combating environmental challenges such as air pollution, rising temperatures, and urban deforestation. By creating green spaces, the drive aimed to enhance biodiversity, improve air quality, and provide future generations with a cleaner and healthier environment.
Punjab Cash & Carry supported the initiative with resources, logistical arrangements, and volunteer participation, while Clean & Green Islamabad offered technical expertise and community mobilization. Together, both organizations demonstrated the power of collaboration in driving impactful social change.
